Daycare Activities and Pampering
We provide an activity based learning environment to keep your pet focused, happy & balanced.
- 6:30-9:30 Arrivals/Veterinarian Technician Checks:
- Dogs are checked-in and their belongings put into their drawer. Morning breakfast is served. Dogs relax in their individual rooms until play groups are formed.
- 8:45-9:15 am Morning Activities for Small Dogs in the Warehouse:
- Chasing, fetching and floor hockey games, tunnel runs, open swim, workouts and much more ‘jamboree time”
- 9:15-11:45 am Morning Activities for Small Dogs in the Puppy Room:
- Chasing, fetching, workouts and much more ‘jamboree time”
- 9:20-12:00 am Morning Activities for Big Dogs in the Warehouse:
- Chasing, fetching and floor hockey games, tunnel runs, open swim, workouts and much more ‘jamboree time”
- 11:30-12:00 p.m. Individual Attention:
- One-on-one training, massage or warm water therapy, cuddle time, lunch, snack time, etc.
- 11:45-1:30p.m. Nap Time for Small Dogs: 12:00-2:30 Nap Time for Big Dogs:
- We at Bark-A-Bout strongly enforce nap and quiet times, since dogs need a time to unwind and relax in order to avoid impatient or destructive behaviors.
- 1:30-2:00 p.m. Afternoon Activities for Small Dogs in the Warehouse:
- A slightly slower paced version of morning activities, involving more training
- 2:00-4:00 p.m. Afternoon Activities for Small Dogs in the Puppy Room:
- A slightly slower paced version of morning activities, involving more training
- 2:05-5:00 p.m. Afternoon Activities for Big Dogs in the Warehouse:
- A slightly slower paced version of morning activities, involving more training
- 4:00-6:30 p.m. Individual Attention / Veterinarian Technician Checks / Wind-down Time
- Belly rubs, one-on-one play, grooming and special needs are met as the day comes to an end and the owner arrives.
Geriatric, puppy and feline programs have daily activity schedules that are geared more for their specific needs
Special Note: A Veterinarian Technician checks over your dog before and after play each day. Please keep in mind that we try to have your pet ready to go home when you arrive. Our Vet-tech check takes a few minutes so we try and pre-plan by taking your pet out of play group 15 minutes before the exit time for this check as well as a short time to wind down before going home. If you would like to come and observe your pet at play before pick- up please let us know ahead of time.
